What’s New: New iOS App Store is Coming with iOS 11
In 2008 with the release of the iPhone 3G and iPhoneOS 2 (iOS 2) the App Store was introduced with 500 apps. As of January 5, 2017 it has grown to hold 2,200,000 that people have 130,000,000,000+ times according to Wikipedia. Since 2008 there has not been an update until now with iOS 11. iOS 11 has completely redesigned the App Store in and out.
What is Boot Camp Assistant and How to Set it Up
Boot Camp is a pre-installed application that has been included in macOS since MacOS Tiger (10.4). This app helps to install a full copy of Microsoft Windows on to another partition. So when you set it up and turn on your computer holding the “Option” key you will be given the option macOS or WindowsOS to boot up in.
What?: What is a Partition
A partition is a fraction of the whole hard drive. Each partition gets recognized by the computer as separate volumes or connected drives. Setting up partitions can be helpful in many cases such as setting up BootCamp were you need to run Windows separately. Another example is when you want to split up data like most computers now have a recovery partition which helps to fix problems on the main user partition.
2017 MacBook Pro Unboxing
During Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) Apple unveiled new computers including the iMac and MacBook. All computers except the MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and Mac Pro included the addition of Intel’s new Kaby Lake processors. They also updated the Thunderbolt port on the iMac changing the 2 Thunderbolt 2 ports to 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports.
